Directed by Azazel Jacobs, French Exit is a 2020 dark comedy-drama film starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Lucas Hedges. Filmed in Montreal and Paris, the movie follows Frances Price, a wealthy and eccentric New York socialite who moves to Paris with her son Malcolm and their cat after the bank seizes all her properties several years after her husband’s death. She sells all her assets to fund their lives in Paris, but the money eventually runs out again, and they are forced to confront the consequences of their choices.
