Into the Weeds is a Canadian documentary film directed by Jennifer Baichwal and Michael McGowan centered around the historical case Johnson v. Monsanto. Dewayne “Lee” Johnson is a California man whose health problems after long-term exposure to glyphosate in the herbicide product Roundup led to his non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis. Johnson and other victims try to hold Monsanto accountable while protesting any further use of hazardous products in agriculture.
