The Big Con (2021)

Take your CRT TVs out of the attic, grab a glass of Crystal Pepsi and purple ketchup for your fries, as The Big Con offers a real time-warp to the 90’s.

In this adventure game set in the 90s, you play as Ali, a rebellious teen who loves working at her mom’s video store. But her mother has bigger hope for Ali than this small video store (maybe she saw Netflix coming before all of us).

When Ali learns that her mom owes close to a $100 000, and that the video store is just about to close its doors, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She ditches band camp and runs away with Ted, a small-time crook who teaches her the art of the grift. Ali and Ted set on a road trip through the US, pickpocketing and conning along the way to collect the 100K required to keep her mother’s store open.

You’ll visit a train, a mall, a small city downtown and the decadent streets of Las Vegas through the neon-tinted glasses of the 90’s.

Filled to the brim with charm, humour and 90’s references, The Big Con is a game that will surely charm anyone who grew up watching Doug and The Rugrats!
