The Decline (2020)

Antoine (Guillaume Laurin) is a family man, a father who’s preoccupied with the state of the world. That’s why he trains his family to the ways of survivalism, making sure they’re ready to whatever crisis they might face.

This is also the reason why he decides to go into the woods to follow a course taught by Alain (Réal Bossé, chilling in this role), an expert of survivalism. Alain lives in a secluded area and off the grid, and with his training and installations, he is ready for any event or crisis… except if it hits too close to home.

When tragedy strikes during the seminar, everybody in the group reacts differently. And quickly, the situation becomes very tense and dangerous.

Somewhere between thriller and horror, The Decline is a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The breathtaking landscapes of the Laurentides, where the movie was shot, also make this movie just as spectacular as any big-budget Hollywood flick.

The perfect movie for those looking for thrills.
