The White Lotus (2021-)

A week in the life of tourists unravels in fictional resort chain White Lotus. With each passing day, the guests, hotel employees, and locals are faced with the realities of tourism. Season two takes place in the Sicilian location, with returning roles from Jennifer Coolige and Jon Gries. The wealthy guests have fun unleashing their most privileged impulses in Italy while seemingly woke Stanford graduate Albie DiGrasso, played by Canadian actor Adam DiMarco, struggles to remain a nice guy. Excellent plot aside, this social satire is also known for its catchy signature musical theme developed by Montreal-based composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer.
