Based on the 90’s comic book Warrior Nun Areala and brought to you by Vancouver-based filmmaker Simon Barry, Warrior Nun follows the story of 19-year-old Ava, an orphaned teen who takes her last breath — only to wake up in a morgue with a new shot at life… and a mysterious artefact embedded in her back. Her excitement is short-lived once she discovers her task: fighting demons with her new superpowers. Will Ava finally end the long battle between heaven and hell?
